🏛️ Refund, Returns & Integrity Policy
Version 1.0 - USA Compliance Standard
1. Irrevocable Safety Protocol & Perishable Nature
Due to the nature of Açaí + Protein as a fresh food product and the stringent requirements of the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regarding food safety, all sales are final.
To protect the biological integrity of our community's ritual, we maintain a strict No-Return Policy once the product has left our climate-controlled facility. No exceptions are made for "change of mind" or buyer's remorse.
2. Mandatory Storage & Integrity Guidelines
Product stability is guaranteed for up to 8 months from the production date, provided the product remains sealed and stored in a clean, dry environment at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat.

Post-Refrigeration & Opening Rule: Once the product has been refrigerated and the seal is broken, it is a fresh food item and must be consumed within the timeframe specified on the label.

Liability Waiver: Failure to strictly adhere to these storage protocols immediately voids any claim of spoilage or quality discrepancy.
3. Damaged Shipments & Glass Fragment Policy
In the event of transit damage (broken glass), the customer must submit a report within 48 hours of the delivery timestamp.

Requirement: Email sales@elageacai.com with your Order ID and high-resolution photographic evidence of both the external shipping carton and the damaged internal bottles.

Resolution: Upon verification, Elage & Acosta will issue either a proportional refund or a replacement shipment at our sole discretion.
4. Authorized Returns & Inspection Process (RMA)
If—and only if—Elage & Acosta authorizes a physical return for quality analysis through a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA):

Customer Responsibility: All shipping costs for authorized returns are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Evaluation: The product will undergo a rigorous internal quality inspection. If found to have been tampered with or stored improperly, no refund will be issued.

Risk of Loss: The customer assumes all risk of loss or damage during return transit.
5. Refund Methods & Financial Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment gateway. This includes:

Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover.

Digital Wallets: PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

Timeline: We process approved refunds within 5 business days. The actual posting of funds depends on your bank (typically 5-10 business days).
6. Subscriptions & Recurring Obligations
Subscription cancellations must be finalized at least 3 business days prior to the next billing cycle. Orders already processed, billed, or in transit are non-refundable.
